We recently installed these 8.5-metre high cat ladders at the Welsh Assembly building in Cardiff. A tight squeeze between two glass buildings. The ladders are used by maintenance engineers to access roof top machinery.

primary power bars

Silver soldering, heavy copper 2500 amps primary power bars for general use in power stations.We have been soldering these bars since 2012, it is a tricky exercise using two different melting point solders.

Glass entrance extension

This new glass entrance extension was installed at The Welsh Assembly in Cardiff. The Welding Shop Ltd secured the contract to carry out the weatherproofing between this and the main building. Always proud when we get work across the border in preference to local companies.

Lift ceiling refurbishment

This is a sassy lift ceiling refurb in a Leeds office block. Old lights and ceiling removed. New spotlights installed along with stainless steel and blue coloured steel ceiling panels.

Airport-style escalator

Safety bollards supplied and installed at Whittington Hospital, London.
